Leadership Donelson Hermitage

Leadership Donelson/Hermitage
Program Description

Leadership Donelson-Hermitage is a community based organization that provides participants with insight into how our community functions and its cultural and organizational differences. It is through these insights that participants have many opportunities that may enrich their lives.

There are three distinct Donelson-Hermitage Leadership programs. Each program is geared towards enhancing leadership abilities, addressing local issues, and improving the quality of life in the community.

Each year individuals apply (link to Apply page) to participate in the Leadership Donelson-Hermitage programs. Our goal is to select a diverse class representative of Donelson-Hermitage without regard to sex, race, age, national origin, or handicap status. Leadership Donelson-Hermitage is a nonpartisan educational organization, designed to produce well informed and motivated community leaders who are willing and capable of working together for a better Donelson-Hermitage area.

Business Leadership

The Business Leadership program was started in 1999 and is made up of individuals who are residents and/or employed full time in the Donelson, Hermitage, or adjacent areas. The goal of this program is to produce well informed and motivated community leaders who are willing and capable of working together for a better Donelson-Hermitage.

This leadership program is the result of a Business Leadership class project.

Program Objectives:

This provides both groups the opportunity to meet one another and forge mentoring and networking relationships.
